Our clients can also apply with us for child benefits from Netherlands. In case that clients have applied on their own we can provide them consultation. Netherlands has two types of child benefits - Kinderbijslag and Kindgeboden Budget. To get the second one you need at first to get the first one, but not every time you are entitled to get the Kindgeboden Budget.

Who can get Kinderbijslag?
Citizens of the European Union, citizens of countries from European Economic Area (EEA) and from Switzerland that pay Dutch social insurance (AKW) and have child (or children) younger than 17 - born in 1996 and later. Also in case that clients got child benefit in their home country and the Dutch benefits would be higher, is it possible to get the difference. For applying you need to have Burgerservicenummer of the child. If you do not have it, you can get it additionally. Kinderbijlag is paid off quarterly.

Who can get Kindgeboden Budget?
Only those clients that got Kinderbijslag. The amount of Kindgeboden Budget depends on parent’s total annual income (can’t be higher than 26 147 EUR). From the client’s income of 19 463 EUR the child benefits are getting lower. Kindgeboden Budget is paid off monthly.

How long does it take to get child benefits?
It takes from six to nine months on average.

What documents do I need?
For applying for Kinderbijslag:
  • Copy of birth certificate of all children younger than 17
  • Copy of marriage certificate
  • Copy of the Jaaropgaaf/Jaaropgave form

  • Judgement of SVB that you got Kinderbijslag

    What is the maximum age of child?
    The maximum age is 17.

    How many years back can I apply for child benefits?
    You can apply only 1 year back. From the January 2016 there is a new application for the year 2015. You can apply until 15th September 2016.

    What is our fee?
    The price is 11% from the refunded amount. There is a minimum fee of 48 EUR.
