What is form Certificate for payments?
Certificate for payments (Certificate for payments made to a non-resident natural person, amounts withheld and social tax calculated / Mitteresidendist füüsilisele isikule tehtud väljamaksete, kinnipidamiste ja arvutatud sotsiaalmaksu töend) is the annual summary which you will receive from your employer at the end of the financial tax year. It shows the total amount you earned from your employer as an income figure and it also displays the amount of tax your employer deducted from your earnings and paid to the tax office.

You can go as far back as 3 years in Estonian from the date on which you should apply for your refund.
How long does it take to get the refund?
On average, between 4 to 6 months from the time your documents are sent to the Tax Authorities, the actual time can vary on case by case basis.
How much is the service fee?
The price is 12% from the refunded amount. There is a minimum fee of 60 EUR.
