Australia Superannuation refund

Superannuation refunds from Australia
Pension contributions paid monthly by employers are called Superannuation. The amount of Superannuation deducted by your employer can be 9,5% or more (depending on the fund used). These payments can be refunded as soon as you have left Australia and your Visa has ceased to be in effect (expired or cancelled). In case your visa are still valid, but you already left Australia, we can apply for visa cancellation and after apply for the Superannuation refund.

If it has been six months or more since you left Australia and you have not claimed DASP, your super fund will be transferred to ATO (Australian Tax Office).

What tax rate will be applied to your Superannuation refund?
Tax rate depends on visa, which you have held during your stay in Australia. You could have held two groups of visa:

WHM Working holiday makers
  • visa subclass 417 (working holiday)
  • visa subclass 462 (work and holiday)

Visa related bridging visa
